"Edgar" box by L'Objet

A protective hand for your spaces. The "Edgar" box by L'Objet reinterprets the hand symbol for protection, strength, and luck in a modern way. Made by hand in Portugal, the spellbinding décor is implemented as marquetry made of exotic woods. For this, artisans cut out individual shapes from carefully selected veneer sheets and join them together like a puzzle before attaching the finished veneer to the object. The removable shelf and the lower half of the interior are covered with red fabric to keep jewellery, small valuables and precious mementos safe and sound.

The designer label L'Objet stands for visionary everyday art. Founded by cosmopolitan Elad Yifrach, the New York studio creates timeless home accessories that build bridges between cultures with uncompromising quality, modern artistic sensibility, and a touch of mysticism and humour.
