"Cabinet of Curiosities" is the name given to these flamboyant glasses by the Czech glass manufacturer Artel. Cabinets of curiosities, later the so-called "wonder rooms" were the forerunners of our museums today. These cabinets date back to the 18th century. Among the things collected and presented to the general public were animal specimens, skeletons and other exotic artefacts.
Artel has researched six historical motifs and had these engraved on its smoke-coloured whisky tumblers "Cabinet of Curiosities". The motifs are based on original 18th-century drawings. The deceptively genuine reproduction by Artel’s glass cutters is fascinating and demands years of experience.
The "Cabinet of Curiosities" double old fashioned tumblers are also available in other colours if required. Other glass shapes can also be selected with this pattern. We are happy to provide you with assistance.
