"Pear" vases, alexandrite/rose by Moser

The "Pear" vases by Moser have two models, a drop-shaped diamond and a pear: with a narrow neck and a protruding belly, which in the case of the "Pear" vases from Moser is slightly bevelled. This gives the vases a very modern touch. But it is above all their two colours and the artistic cut that make the "Pear" vases so distinctive.

Each vase is produced in the renowned Moser crystal glassworks in the Czech Republic where it is mouth-blown and then engraved and polished by hand. This "Pear" design was awarded the "Public Prize of Czech Grand Design" in 2012.

Since 1863, Moser has been producing lead-free crystal glass only. A brilliant colour palette characterizes Moser's creative glass objects. The manufacturer has built an unrivalled know-how in colouring, cutting and engraving this demanding material. Moser’s unmistakable colour palette consists of subtle, almost intangible colours that change in intensity when the objects are turned and rotated.

Any slight deviations in dimensions or colour are evidence that the "Pear" vase by Moser is completely handmade.
