"Bombé" tea service by Alessi

The design for this "Bombé" tea service dates back to 1945 and is by Carlo Alessi, the son of the company founder Giovanni Alessi. Giovanni Alessi founded the company in Omega, Piemont in Italy in 1921. Carlo Alessi was made managing director of the company in the 1950s, and he brought in a new international dimension. Over the years, Alessi has developed from a small metal goods manufacturer to the internationally renowned design factory for original kitchen and home accessories.

The polished stainless steel lends the "Bombe" line a refined appearance. The handles are made of black bakelite.
